As part of the Integrated Technology Operations, Distributed Technology Operations (DTO) team, the Computer Operations Analyst 4 (COA4) primary role will be to provide technical expertise to highly complex issues and initiatives related to the support and maintenance of the Corporate Distributed Computing Platforms (OS and Hardware) both Virtual and Physical including the following core focus areas; Windows Servers, UNIX based Servers (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX), Linux based Servers (Red Hat SuSE). Candidate will also be expected to provide guidance and leadership to technical system support initiatives. The COA4 will be the escalation point for the DTO team, and a mentor to COA2 and COA3 team members.

Working as part of the Distributed Technology Operations team, candidate will assume responsibility for event escalation, alert and incident management service, change event support and execution service, break fix service including problem diagnosis, troubleshooting repair and resolution of issues impacting systems and impaired user functionality.

This Operations team provides 24 x7 services and the candidate will be required to work a day shift position scheduled Wednesday- Saturday (two 12 hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) as well as two 8 hour shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)




Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of computer operations experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in fast-paced mainframe, midrange, or bank operations environment
  • Problem resolution management experience for technical bridge line calls
  • Customer service experience
  • 5+ years of UNIX experience
  • 5+ years of Windows OS administration experience
  • 2+ years of virtualization technologies experience
  • CompTIA A+ Certification (is that the same as A+ certification, which is preferred)
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: ticketing workflow systems, in a production environment



Other Desired Qualifications

•CompTIA Server+ Certification (is that the same as Server+ certification, which is preferred)

•Problem resolution management experience for technical bridge line calls

•Experience working with PowerShell

•Experience working in fast-paced mainframe, midrange, or bank operations environment

•Problem resolution management experience for technical bridge line calls

•Customer service experience
