Work withengineering, quality, and manufacturing personnel to solve production issues on complex composite structures lay-up, machining, and bonded assembly processes using data based problem solving techniques.
*** Define strategic direction of business, provide technical resources for proposal activities, provide input for budgeting, and manage workforce within direct and indirect budgets.
***Support manufacture of high performance aerospace components using industry standard and unique processes.
*** Determine product impacts and recommend disposition of parts.
*** Develop and implement process improvements.
*** Serve as subject matter expertise for queries related to composite material manufacturing technology including lay-up and cure, machining of composite components, and composite assembly (including bonded and fastened assembly methods).
*** Obtain working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), complex bonded assembly with core stiffened structures, and similar.
