Responsible for key components of the Compliance program. Responsible for implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of regulatory compliance activities and programs, ensuring they meet strategic business objectives. Assists in the coordination and development of the annual compliance and audit work plan. Oversees the Fair Market Value validation in the contracting process. Manages the Exclusion monitoring process for all employees, physicians, vendors and volunteers following initial employment, appointment and engagement. Manages hotline allegations and internally identified concerns within the disclosure database. Monitors changes in regulatory requirement changes across all business lines and develops communication and implementation strategies.
Provide guidance to stakeholders when specific compliance issues arise. Participates as a team member of the compliance department at various hospital committees and work groups to ensure coordination and collaboration of compliance initiatives. Ensure ongoing education and training of internal business partners on risk and compliance related topics in response to ongoing or new legal and compliance requirements and in remediation of compliance issues. Work with change management to roll out and communicate new policies. Partner with appropriate functional leaders and the Compliance team to roll out company-wide compliance programs. Perform compliance audits as needed and generate reports accordingly. Provide recommendations for continual education and improvement. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Administration, Engineering, Healthcare or other related field

Required Certification: Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Healthcare Compliance(CHC) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) within 6 months of hire
