As the Compensation Manager you will be responsible for compensation program at 11locations in US and Canada through consultation with HR and business partners. That's developing, reviewing & maintaining consistent, legal and equitable programs. Activities like job and market analysis, equity reviews, jobs database admin and merit process. All while ensuring it's compliant and meets business needs.

? Evaluate effectiveness of internal pay practices and conduct market research to create pay programs and provide compensation data analysis to facilitate management decision making.
? Review pay offers for external and internal candidates based on qualifications, external market, and internal equity considerations.
? Responsible for the organization?s job database. Partner with business unit HR teams and management to develop, revise, and audit job descriptions for content. Conduct audits to ensure consistent, quality and legally compliance.
? Analyze job content and related market data to provide recommendations for grading jobs.
? Consult and collaborate with leadership and HR partners to identify and address issues related to compensation to support recognition/retention plans, etc.
? Assist with organizational restructures. Evaluate job content, determines appropriate pay grades and recommend pay adjustments based on scope of jobs, external pay pressures and internal comparisons.
? Work with Director and HR management to streamline pay delivery systems utilizing Excel, databases, the HRIS, etc. Create tools to analyze data and prepare recommendations to submit to senior management for review and approval.
? Maintain knowledge of current state and federal regulations or legislation that impacts pay practices. Make recommendations to maintain compliance and impact on business.
? BachelorDegree in human resources, accounting, business administration or equivalent work experience
? .5 to 7years of related experience, including a minimum of 4 to 5years direct experience developing and administering compensation programs, programs including surveys, pay structures, adjustments, merit and incentive planning. Lots of data requires excellent knowledge of databases, Excel and HRIS.
? Excellent Excel skills required to analyze data and manage pay delivery (v-lookups, micros, macros, formulas pivot tables, etc.) Working knowledge of HRIS systems.
? Ability to analyze statistical data and make solid recommendations that reflect market data and internal comparisons. Experienceworking with incentive pay programs and preparing recommendations and statistical reports for presentation to management.
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. Ability to consult with all levels of management as needed to analyze jobs and review or develop job descriptions.
