We are looking for an energetic Community Care Marketing Director to join Mediware’s growing marketing team. Mediware is building a high performing marketing organization to support the growth of our leading healthcare-focused technology company. This role will drive and execute marketing strategy, positioning, messaging and lead generation for the Community Care portfolio of Mediware’s software and services offerings. Reporting to the Senior VP of Marketing and working with senior leaders, sales, product managers, R&D and business development, the ideal candidate would have experience leading marketing of software products in a software and/or services company. Specific focus will be to drive revenue growth by developing and implementing marketing strategies, plans and programs. Growth in qualified leads, opportunities, revenue and market share are the key measures of success in this position. Close collaboration with the sales, product management, product development and operations teams as well as the Mediware Marketing Center of Excellence is expected.
•Developing product messaging for use across all marketingchannels – web channels, sales channels, marketing assets, etc.
•Collaborate with events team and oversee marketing at events, making the most of the opportunity for effective customer engagement onsite.
•Leading the content marketing strategy and identifying the set of assets needed to support the product and portfolio strategy, e.g., website copy, case studies, infographics, videos, product demos, presentations, white papers, data sheets, etc.
•Identifying external channels for proliferation of product messaging like journals, websites, professional events, social channels, etc.
•Identifying and building relationships with key thought leaders, and other influencers as well as with key customer accounts.
•Developing and driving the annual and quarterly marketing plans designed to raise awareness, establish our reputation as a leader, and to drive leads and sales (multi-channel lead generation campaigns).
•Setting the content marketing and campaign strategies, and working with other parts of marketing organization to ensure they are executed.
•Partnering closely with the sales and product management teams to develop compelling sales enablement tools.
•Managing, motivating and developing 1-2 marketing specialists.
•Bachelors Degree in marketing, journalism, or communications. MBA preferred.
•7+ years of experience in marketing software products.
•Must be a strategic thinker and be business savvy.
•Experience working in partnership with sales.
•Previous experiencemarketing to, or working with, governmental, quasi-governmental, non-profit or similar types of agencies, entities or businesses is strongly preferred.
•Demonstrated outstanding communication, writing, and presentation skills.
•Effectively work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
•Manage projects and work under tight deadlines.
