Jackson Spalding’s fast-growing team seeks a talented Communications/Project Manager to immediately join its vibrant Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have strong client facing skills, comprehensive media relations and communications background, solid experience in day-to-day account management, and is comfortable with creative and marketing projects.

Minimum 6 years in public relations, communications or relevant role in an agency or in-house corporate communications environment. 
Minimum 4 years hands-on experience managing a variety of clients in various industries, preferably working with B2C brands. 
Comfortable with creative and marketing projects.
Experience is required in budget management and estimate forecasting. 
Strong experience in media and client relations, and content-driven digital and influencer programs. 
At ease with embedding in client environments.
Proven experience planning, executing and measuring campaigns, launches and day-to-day communications initiatives 
Proven experience as a trusted client advisor (as evidenced by client retention, increased YOY budgets, etc.) 
Excellent written and oral communication.
Meticulous organizational and time management skills. 
Professional relationship-building skills, social demeanor and strong interest in building community ties. 
Big picture, strategic thinker, with grit to execute initiatives. 
Bachelordegree in a relevant field of work; B.A. in Communications, Journalism or English preferred.


Assist with leading collaborative account teams
Maintain excellent client relationships and service
Lead projects including development of plans, budgets, team member allocations
Assist in the development of campaign strategy, client messaging and thought leadership
Develop deep knowledge and understanding of clients and business operations
Identify and write newsworthy stories and communications for media opportunities, such as press releases, bylined articles, blog copy, and other collateral. Knowledge of AP style guidelines required
