We are hiring! In this newly created Communications Manager role, you will be responsible for driving the planning and execution of internal communications initiatives in support of the HAVI strategic growth agenda, with particular focus on supporting digital communications activity and initiatives related to the global functions of Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance. You will develop employment brand-related content for external digitalchannels (social media and web), partner with functional and service-line subject matter experts and communications and marketing colleagues to drive employee engagement and behaviors that support business results and our employee value proposition.

Additional responsibilities in this exciting role:

  • Develop and execute initiative-specific internal communication plans, particularly related to changes, program and initiatives related to global function activity (IT, HR, Finance)
  • Lead content creation for HAVI’s social media employment brand, including managing editorial calendar, writing content and guiding the development of visuals and other creative assets on platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Glassdoor
  • Support the ongoing implementation of HAVI’s Digital Workplace including the management and development of content for the corporate intranet
  • Develop strategies and tools to build communication capability/digital literacy among leaders and employees
  • Partner with internal customer teams (global Communications, marketing, global human resources, finance, and IT; subject matter experts to identify messages and develop effective content
  • Partner with communication colleagues and external vendors as needed to execute variety of communication tools and channels
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of internal communications across regions to ensure alignment, consistency, and sharing of best practices
  • Assist with development and execution of internal and external meetings and events as needed
  • Track metrics via surveys and digital tracking to evaluate effectiveness of internal communication programs, initiatives, and events
  • Manage project costs

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in communications, journalism or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in communications; global experience preferred
  • Expert in the use of Office 365 programs, Adobe Pro; experience with Drupal, Newsweaver (Poppulo) and Adobe InDesign a plus
  • Strong business writing and editing skills
  • Experience developing and driving initiative-specific communication plans
  • Strong skills and experience in social media and digital execution
  • Experience in the execution of different communication channels (print, video, presentations, meetings)
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to interact effectively with internal customers of all levels
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Initiative, persistence and a continuous learning mindset
  • Experience processing large amounts of detail or technical information and identifying key points and storyline
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment and deal with ambiguity
