Job Description:

AriensCo is seeking a high-caliber Public Relations and Communications Manager for our offices in Brillion, WI. The Public Relations & Communications Manager is responsible for AriensCo's reputation, and is accountable for the internal and corporate communications strategy, media relations and public relations strategy across multiple brands within AriensCo. They will support the continued growth of the business by successfully aligning the company's communications strategy, product and service messages through public relations, supporting sponsorships, and managing our quarterly publication on a global basis. Other duties include project management of product launches, managing a yearly budget and collaborating with all members of the marketing team.


Public and Media Relations

  • Leverage the most effective and efficient communication vehicles to continue our brand awareness within a designated budget
  • Lead the planning and execution of system wide PR campaigns that correlate to brand, marketing and sponsorship promotions
  • Strong ability and passion for building relationships with and pitch new product and marketing initiatives to industry-specific media outlets
  • Prepare media kits and organize press conferences
  • Develop external and internal public relations and communication strategy
  • Manage press releases for external communications
  • Increase brand presence for all AriensCo Brands
  • Partner with marketing and sales team to plan successful launch of new products and services, including formalized launch plans, tactics and ensure all areas are held accountable
  • Assist in managing crisis situations through communication solutions and strategy to maintain a positive brand image
  • Act as company spokesperson for media requests, facilitating media interviews and developing brand awareness
  • Develop relationships with global media and act as a point person for media requests

Internal and Editorial Communications

  • Create an annual project plan to continuously manage internal brand consistency and marketing campaigns through ads, photography, video, collateral, direct mail, literature and related product and brand support
  • Support marketing initiatives through copy-writing and exceptional writing skills
  • Manage our quarterly magazine publication in conjunction with marketing agency
  • Develop system wide communications that inform dealers and employees of new marketing campaigns, announcements, new products, and all other pertinent information
  • Assist leadership team in drafting, editing and distributing of system-wide and external communications
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums

Community Relations

  • Manage multiple vendor relationships as required to execute the brand marketing strategy within budget
  • Drive engagement and relationship building with current and prospective media customers for AriensCo brands, and ensure there is a consistent brand presence in the marketplace through public relations
  • Prepare presentations in support of board meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings, and annual events
  • Develop sponsorship program including strategy, requirements and management of budget
  • Assist with coordination and management of corporate meetings and trade-shows


  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in (one); PR, Journalism, Communications, Advertising or marketing related field
  • Confident communicator and presenter
  • Excellent time management, planning, and multi-tasking skills
  • High attention to detail
  • 5-8 years of PR experience and/or leadership experience
  • Full understanding of media needs and media relationships
  • Keen awareness and understanding of PR, social media and advertising trends
  • Effective communicator and presenter with the ability to motivate and inspire customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
  • Creative, decisive, collaborative, responsive and able to work independently and take responsibility for decisions and outcomes
  • Proven experience in traditional marketing, as well as, digital strategy, content marketing, social media, online promotions, in-store POP and product launches
  • Ability to work in high-speed environments with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
