Koch Business Solutions (KBS) is currently seeking a Benefits Communications Analyst to join our benefits team! KBS manages the benefit programs for the Koch companies supporting 60,000 US employees. We oversee the strategic benefits planning, communications, and operational governance of third-party vendors.
The Benefits Communication Analyst role provides guidance and coordination across the team in the communication and awareness of our health, welfare, pension, and savings plans.
The role also supports projects such as implementing benefits plans/programs and vendors, as well as support for business activity and other strategic business initiatives that impact benefits communications.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Responsible for creating or reviewing all internal benefit communications materials that support the strategic plan and enhances participant understanding and engagement
Facilitates review by the applicable subject matter expert(s) of the accuracy of the benefits information to be included in all communication materials
Prepare and execute, with subject matter experts and internal legal resource, benefit documentation such as summary plan descriptions and enrollment materials
Analyzes communication resources and materials available with benefit plan vendors to determine appropriate integration within the overall communications strategy
Develops and manages the communication project plans and leads communication messaging development in conjunction with internal and external partners
Responsible for mass email distribution channel, including laying out content, developing target lists and distributing messages to defined populations
Responsible for managing repository of benefits plan documents (summary plan descriptions), including the tagging of document content to ensure the correct plan information is pulled into the correct plan document prior to distribution to employee groups (based on things like union status, operating company, etc.)
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, human resources or related field of study
5+ years of benefits communication experience in corporate environment
Strong knowledge of and experience with PC-based desktop publishing applications such as Adobe InDesign
