What you'll do?

Specific Duties

·Global Purchasing Commodity Management for Semicondutors

·Establishment of the Global Commodity Strategy, executing and maintaining KPI Reporting, Supplier Capacity and Compliance with Global Standards, Process Maps & Procedures.

·Drive execution through Interface to plant production, engineering, quality and business units establish the future vision for Sourcing plans, Strategic activities, Component capacities and Cost reductions.

·Monitor and give direction as it responds to commodity market trends.

·Manage (directly or indirectly) and supervise several Commodity /Lead buyers

·Facilitate and Collaborate with the respective assigned supplier quality- and development or design engineers located at respective technical center or manufacturing site in “commodity team”.

·Secure and maintain Supply Chain Risk Mitigation (Mapping and Contingency), that takes steps to mitigate any impact, as well as secure and maintain the establishment of contingency plans and have contingencies in place.

·Supply Base Management (Selection, Pre-Qualification, Development & Consolidation and Risk Management)

·Drive and ensure the timely sourcing of components for local and global programs, follow the documented strategy, the commodity flag panel, and the established "should cost" analysis.

·Support global activities and targets, as well as establish plans for Material price variance and Working capital contribution improvement.

·Travel as required (percentage varies).

Other task as assigned by supervisor or described in ASPP (Autoliv Sourcing and Purchasing Process

 

Authority

1. Assure all staff are in compliance with ANA policies and procedures
2. Source selection, price decisions, supplier quality on commodity
3. Department expense report approval up to $3,000
4. Authority to place suppliers on probation



What you'll bring

Experience

5 years business experience or equivalent Leadership skills - 2 years or equivalent
Supervisory skills - 1 year or equivalent

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering
