Position Purpose

•Regional Product Supply representative for all phases of regional innovation projects

•Single point of contact with Global Product Supply (GPS) in late development phase to enable transition of projects from Global teams to the regional product supply functional experts

•Direct the engagement of all regional functional leads to provide all GPS Playbook deliverables per the established timeline from Commercialization through Launch stage. This includes Finance, Engineering, Local Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Procurement and 3PM organizations

•Execution that fits the following scope:
o Regional NPD programs, Price/Pack Architecture, Supply Continuity, capacity expansion and sourcing initiatives ,special Packs

•Develop robust qualification plans with regional project managers and key facility/Quality contacts. Ensure participation in technical reviews and leadership where required.

•Ensure teams deliver Commercialization objectives to ensure successful launch (product costing and capacity assumptions, sourcing assumptions etc.)

•Escalate any volume/Country commitment deviations to regional/Global leadership teams

•Effectively manage and communicate project risks with Product Supply stakeholders

•Support development of the Regional Scoping Document, Development Objective , Design Guide, and other key project documents throughout regional project life cycle

•Establishes rapport with stakeholder groups and identifies clarity of stakeholder outcomes and assures that these are not in conflict with project outcomes

•Assemble the regional GPS inputs to the regional business case

•Develop initial production pipeline build plans

•Be accountable to the product supply organization to ensure that new product offerings can be safely and efficiently manufactured with the technology required to make them

•Work with project teams to prepare them for Stage gate reviews and attend Stage Gate reviews
− Commercialization –Launch as GPS lead

Required Skills, Education and Experience

•Education: BS or BA technical/business degree required
•Minimum 5-10 years business experience
•Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in manufacturing, and/or purchasing / planning / distribution
•Experience in new product launches, contract manufacturing and financial analysis

Preferred Skills & Experience

•Knowledge of operations & procurement/ sourcing
•Experience to interface, lead and build relationships with multiple levels and functions internal and external to the corporation
•Sustainable track record in identifying, developing and executing process improvement initiatives
•Strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership and how trade off decisions impact delivered cost. This requires sound understanding of cost drivers in supply chain management
•Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making with stakeholder alignment
•Highly organized, flexible and able to quickly adapt from one situation to the next
•Strong analytical, attention to detail
•Leadership, sound judgment, and solid technical problem solving skills are essential
•Business Acumen - understands business implications of decisions; aligns work with strategic goals
•Communication - excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in influencing others in cross-functional areas
•Possess a strong work ethic and sense of urgency, self-starter
•MS Excel, Power Point Proficiency
