Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic initiatives from wing to wing including developing the business case, selling the opportunity internally and externally and serve as the overall project manager of the execution
  • Become the single point of contact for PayPal Credit Marketing with the various Synchrony cross-functional, COE and otherinternal teams
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of the PayPal Credit business while developing a documented fact-base on various facets of the business, e.g., products, channels, marketing tactics, etc.
  • Engage appropriate internal and 3rd party resources to augment gaps in understanding, industry best practices, consumer preferences, competitive reactions, etc. to robustly identify and assess new opportunities
  • Develop and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for commercializing new opportunities / run business challenges: in-market success reflected by growth in top-line metrics (new accounts, incremental net credit sales) will be the sole measure of success in-role
  • Influence and support Consumer and Merchant PayPal Credit leaders with grounded insights and assessments for their respective business focus
  • Build strong client and SYF leadership relationships the provide leverage to driving the PayPal client growth agenda forward

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of consumer lending experience with critical experiences in amongst others: product marketing; channel management; new product introductions; and, strategic planning and analysis
  • 5+ years credit marketing experience
