Responsible for securing gas supplies for EnLink’s assets within North Texas and providing input to multi-functional asset optimization teams in order to improve existing asset financial performance. Manage specific customer account relationships; originate, evaluate, negotiate and execute gas gathering, processing and purchase agreements.


Position is an integral part of the North Texas Asset Team responsible for maintaining, growing and optimizing gross margin and maximizing asset utilization.  This person will play a key role in maintaining and growing current sources of gas supplies and profitability for systems flowing almost 1 BCFD and generating over $300mm/yr cash flow.


  • Initiate, research, analyze and develop gas supply and project opportunities for NTX assets; source projects, write proposals, service customers and develop processes to maximize the returns on EnLink assets.

  • Make recommendations and provide input concerning business development opportunities such as acquisitions and consolidation of facilities.

  • Establish, develop and maintain network and customer relationships to create opportunities for the company.

  • Proactively develop and implement strategies to increase margin and/or term and to attract new gas supplies on existing service agreements with assigned customers.

  • Negotiate contracts from concept through completion. Work closely with Accounting, Contract Administration and Legal to ensure contracts are correctly structured and accurately captured in the accounting system.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Land in order to develop efficient assets for new supply opportunities and to optimize profitability of current assets.

  • Maintain relationships and foster cooperative efforts with the competing NTX pipelines.


  • Producers and competing pipeline companies in NTX.

  • EnLink Operations, Land, Engineering, and Contract Administration personnel.

  • Other Company departments as needed (including Accounting, Asset Analysis, Legal, Gas Control, Marketing, Measurement, etc.).


  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business or engineering preferred.

  • 5+ (10+ for Senior) years gas gathering and processing experience with a full understanding of gathering and processing economics as well as commercial structures.

  • Experience should be in the commercial, technical and/or operational aspects of natural gas assets as well as experience in economic evaluation. Must possess the ability to gain an extensive working understanding of the NTX integrated midstream asset base.

  • Possess strong negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including project presentations to customers and senior management.

  • Proven track record and reputation for developing and maintaining relationships within the industry.

  • Successful experience in prospect generation and prospect negotiation.

  • Ability to work on several different projects/prospects simultaneously. May lead and coordinate the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Exhibit a very strong understanding and appreciation for working in a team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
