Commercial Marketing Manager, Industrial in Milton, Georgia

Overview

The Commercial Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and/or supporting the commercialization of new and existing products and programs for applicable market segments. This position will support the sales teams with key growth initiatives and solutions to achieve the Industrial (Motive and Network Power) division objectives. The Commercial Marketing Manager will be the team lead for aligning critical customer feedback with cross functional internal teams togain support and drive new initiatives in the various market channels.

Responsibilities

  • In close alignment with our Sales teams, support key initiatives by developing, managing and tracking key programs for sales and revenue growth through the OEM and aftermarket channels

  • Provides sales support by working with the Marketing Communications team to develop and implement new sales tools

  • Responsible for taking the lead for the Industrial (Motive and Network) division on alignment and completion of key commercial activities as assigned

  • Support the monthly Marketing reviews, providing key metrics and alignment of key initiatives and activities to internalcross functional teams

  • Perform product line reviews with the Product Marketing Managers for key customers or internal groups, which may include providing recommendations on promotions, programs, and price architecture to drive volume and revenue

  • Support the sales team by assisting in sales calls and trade shows at the discretion of Sales management

Qualifications

  • College degree

  • At least 12 years of experience working in product and service launches, marketing and/or business development

  • years working in a Commercial Marketing role, creating business case and executing product development plans that have resulted in profitable growth

  • Automotive, Heavy Duty Equipment, Material Handling, Energy Storage background preferred, but not required

  • Demonstrated cross-functional team leadership.

  • Executive level communication, presentation and selling skills

  • Ability to work cross functionally within an organization with the ability to acquire needed data, information and resources to make educated decisions

  • Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial and quantitative information with the ability to articulate a validated point of view

  • Summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making, including making proposals to high level managers.

  • Convey understanding of market conditions and trends impacting the company’s growth.

  • Stay abreast of business developments that may positively or negatively impact the industry.

  • Seek feedback from customers to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Ability to multi-task with several key projects and timelines working simultaneously in a fast paced environment

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft suite of products.

  • Self motivated with a personal drive and commitment to succeed

  • Adaptability and positive reaction to business needs and evolving strategies.

  • Team oriented with an Entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Up to 25% Travel may be required.
