Growing and long standing Property and Casualty insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. Service commercial lines accounts as assigned. Meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs. Prepare company submissions for quotes and prepare proposals of insurance. Initiate, screen and prepare endorsement requests. Prepare and process certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance, ID cards, certificates, binders and cancellations. Review policies for accuracy. Service accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, reducing E&O exposures.
REQUIREMENTS: NY P&C license required. Minimum 5 years Commercial Account Management experience is necessary. CIC designation or equivalent preferred or the active pursuit of the CIC designation or equivalent is required. College degree preferred. Knowledge of Applied TAM, Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance required.
