Ideal individual will support the Construction Group's business priorities, maintain the client relationship, grow revenue and client happiness by successfully counseling clients/colleagues on all risk management practices and provide advice in insurance program design and all lines of insurance coverage. Will coordinate the delivery of all client services provided by the agency including but not limited to coverage review and placement, claims, loss control, contract review, loss forecasting, and collateral review. Responsible for growing and profitably managing an assigned group of client accounts successfully. Building relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional ongoing customer care. Support other members of the group on specific project placements. Secure existing business and actively driving the sale of additional services and lines of coverage. Maintain knowledge of emerging trends in both the construction and insurance industries.
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of underwriting/Client management experience. Previous experience in managing client relationships essential. Must possess strong technical, written and verbal communication skills. Technical proficiency in Property/Casualty lines of insurance. Previous experience in large deductible casualty programs, captives, and self-insurance preferred. Willing to obtain a Producer's license. Proficiency necessary in Microsoft office applications and in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality.
