Ensure profitable growth of commercial flood business through evaluation, selection, acceptance, rejection, pricing and servicing of commercial flood policies within accepted company risk framework.
*** Establish collaborative relationship with sales team and agencies to prospect new business.
*** Communicate with retail agents and brokers to obtain documentation for underwriting and pricing commercial flood risk.
*** Develop custom solutions that cater to customer needs and the external market environment while maintaining underwriting integrity.
*** Review new business submissions, rate commercial policies, and review policies for coverage limits, deductibles, and endorsements.
*** Ensure policy issuance is in compliance with applicable State laws.
*** Collaborate with sales team, underwriting team, operations team to ensure client service objectives are met.
*** Support profitable growth strategy by tracking key metrics and external market landscape.
*** Liaise with exposure modeling, actuarial, data analytics, predictive modeling teams to continuously refine risk selection and pricing.
*** Provide technical expertise regarding interpretation of coverage language, underwriting criteria and pricing.
