Full Job Description
Hunt Electric, Inc. of Denver, CO is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Foreman to join our team. The qualified candidate may oversee the project from the award of the project to the final construction. The position requires a high level of customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with electrical construction background is required.

Major Duties:
  • Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.
  • Plan and layout the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.
  • Establish a site-specific safety plan, evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.
  • Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.
  • Evaluate the contracted scope of work with the PM to determine change requests and schedule effect.
  • Plan the project's material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.
  • Monitor daily progress to the short term and long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
  • Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.
  • Establish and implement prefab project-specific tasks.
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Be a self starter.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager


Qualifications of an Electrical Foreman:
  • Current Colorado Journeyman license.
  • Have previously successfully supervised projects with crews ranging from 2 to 50 personnel, meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Five plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
  • Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
  • Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.). Team player with acknowledging contributions by others.
  • Have basic computer skills such as Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
  • Have a valid Driver's License.
  • Have safety training relative to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 10 hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out and trade specific.


Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($42.63-$47.25 per Hour). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Hunt Electric, Inc. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Participation in the Company bonus programs for each plan year are subject to management recommendation and internal committee review.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
