Be responsible for supporting strategy execution across all regional markets, developing and implementing commercial excellence initiatives and strengthening our business interfaces to increase overall sales effectiveness, customer reach and ultimately business results according to targets.
Be the leader that will help to provide structure, analysis, commercial excellence and drive to our growing Americas business.
Lead our commercial and business excellence efforts in concert with our regional sales leaders, strategic business units from inception to successful execution.
Support the execution of strategic initiatives and digitalization of our customer interface platform.
Tackle topics such as customer segmentation, price and margin management, pipeline management, sales structure, account planning, sales capabilities.
Act as Business Partner to the regional sales teams in planning and implementation of commercial processes, projects and initiatives to maximize business impact in all Business Units across the region.
Interface with Sales Leaders, Technical Sales, Business Controlling, and the Global Commercial Development Group as necessary.
Develop and work as part of a global function and ensure Americas strategies and initiatives receive the right support, but also you will be a thought leader shaping UPM Raflatac’s global commercial excellence roadmap.
Who you are
You have the equivalent of a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related technical field and minimum 7 years’ experience in sales, business consulting or commercial excellence function in a B2B or B2C environment.
You are highly analytical, structured and bring high affinity for strategy development and execution.
You have profound experience in commercial excellence implementation and know how to drive adoption and effectiveness through a sales organization.
You have experience working with IT interfaces such as SFDC and an overall high affinity for IT interface development.
You are an ambitious, yet balanced leader that can provide leadership and management to a small team that will support the Commercial Development.
You can positively influence your team and the wider organization with positive, forward looking attitude.
You have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to relate well with a diverse constituency.
You demonstrate technical system proficiencies and have experience with MS Office Suite.
You are fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language skills (e.g. Spanish, Finnish, German) will be considered a plus.
