Supervise team of adjusters handling both bodily injury and property damage claims arising out of Commercial Automobile and General Liability policies.

 

*** Train adjusters on technical development of claim files. Coach team on coverage analysis, liabilityinvestigation, development and evaluation of damages, settlement strategies, and litigation management.

 

*** Assign new claims to unit members based on complexity and skill set of staff.

 

*** Oversee all aspects of claims handling including reserving, communication, documentation, litigation management, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement.

 

*** Analyze and approve insurance claim payments.

 

*** Ensure all claims eligible or ineligible for payment conform to quality, production standards, and specifications.

 

*** Address complex appeals & complaints and prepare formal response to consumer complaints.

 

*** Complete regular quality audits of work; record results; and counsel staff to address poor performance.

 

*** Review and analyze processes, procedures, and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement.

 

*** Prepare periodic reports for management and monitor system reports to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.

 

*** Monitor and relay changes in coverage and laws to staff.
