This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) Personnel System position aligned under authorities of Section 1599f, of Title 10, Chapter 81 United States Code and DOD Instruction 1400.25-V3007.

The primary purpose of this position: USSTRATCOM is seeking a seasoned leader to head the Data & Knowledge Innovation Solutions Branch. In this supervisory role, you'll guide a high performing team responsible for driving collaboration, digital modernization, and enterprise information sharing across the Command. You'll shape IT strategy, oversee complex systems integration efforts, and influence senior decisionmakers on future capabilities. Expert knowledge of and skill in the analysis of military information systems, their interaction, and their impact on global combatant command operations.

Expert knowledge of a wide range of IT principles and systems analysis concepts and techniques, new and emerging information technologies, security methods and principles technological advances, to apply internet technologies to analyze networks and the related security aspects and predict how management can meet future requirements.

Knowledge of customers' business processes and operations to anticipate and refine functional requirements.

Knowledge of customary approaches, techniques, and requirements appropriate to analyze requirements, develop acquisition strategies, and implement systems enhancements.

Skill to organize and lead study teams tasked to originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies.

Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.

Ability to interpret manpower documents and accurately connect personnel records to manpower and funding data elements.

Cyberspace Qualification is a condition of employment. This position includes Cyberspace work as a paramount duty requirement.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance certification within 6 months of assigned duties
