Equally important to the end-to-end DevOps toolchain is project planning and manage, and Azure DevOps Boards and GitHub Projects provide productive capabilities to support all aspects of a DevOps process.

Join the One Commercial Partner (OCP) technical team as an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect (CSA) and help us introduce Microsoft's partner ecosystem to DevOps processes leveraging GitHub. Be front and center as our partners pursue digital transformation to cloud-based architectures.

Responsibilities:

As a Cloud Solutions Architect in OCP, your primary responsibility will be to work with Microsoft's ecosystem of partners (Independent Software Vendors and Services Partners) to enable their success with Azure by leveraging GitHub to help them develop robust DevOps processes. You will help partners as they plan to deploy products, solutions, and services to the cloud. The CSA is a highly technical partner-facing role accountable for the end-to-end cloud technical architecture and solution deployment experience. In this role, you will own technical partner engagement leading Envisioning Sessions, Architecture Design Sessions (ADS), hackfest and Proofs of Concept (POC) sessions, as well as help partners launch their products, solutions, or services in market.

Establish and maintain expertise in cloud-based application development, DevOps, and GitHub
Maintain awareness of current cloud computing market trends and cloud market insights
Serve as a trusted technical and business advisor to ecosystem partners
Lead envisioning, Architecture Design Session (ADS) and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements
Help partners create DevOps practices addressing people, process, and tools (GitHub)
Lead partner technical onboarding efforts and ensure partner enablement plan execution
Document and share technical best practices

Qualifications

Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
Expertise in DevOps practices addressing people, process, and tooling (GitHub)
Technical experience in Azure DevOps or GitHub and one or more of the following Azure services and technologies or equivalent technologies in AWS or GCP: App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Fabric, Service Fabric Mesh, Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Cognitive Services, other DevOps technologies (Jenkins, etc.), Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Open Source Software languages (Java, Node.js, PHP, etc.), C#, .NET
Partner experience and understanding of partner business drivers and business models plus demonstrated skill building deep technical relationships with executives and technical leads within customer or partner organizations
Able to set and lead the technical vision while balancing business drivers and imperatives to help partners build profitable Azure/cloud businesses
Ability to build technical and business credibility with senior executives and grow mind share with highly strategic customers and partners

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related degree preferred
5+ years' experience designing, implementing, and deploying distributed or cloud-based applications demonstrating architectural skills needed to ensure availability and scalability
5+ years' success in consulting or technical sales roles, managing multiple stakeholder relationships, generating consensus on decisions, and driving next steps
Experience leveraging Agile, SCRUM, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), or DevOps with one or more of the following environments: Azure, GitHub, AWS, or GCP
Experience leveraging one or more of the following languages: .NET, C#, Java, Node.js, or other modern development languages
Strong verbal and written communication skills and proactive collaboration capabilities
Ability to demonstrate technical thought leadership in customer-facing situations
Ability to present with a high degree of comfort to both small and large audiences
Ability to adapt to a dynamic changing environment and drive clarity out of ambiguity
Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
Ability to travel between 20-30%
