The Security Architect will be principally responsible for ensuring that all Honeywell IT Cloud/Compute and Connectivity Platform (CCP) products and services are designed securely and are technically sound and supportable. You will also be integral in ensuring security is integrated into Cloud-based products and services, aligning business strategy with IT and doing so in a manner which secures by using a built-in mindset. Your role is pivotal in being a part of a cross-functional team and characterized for trying new approaches while supporting growth and innovation. You will provide technical analysis of existing and future security products and services as well as participate in benchmarking exercises to align solutions to industry best practices; participate in the proposal management process to deliver customer-centric solutions; and architect and design secure broad sweeping solutions using industry best practices and technologies focused on Public Cloud deployments.

Provide technical consultation, guidance, and assistance to management, business unit contacts and internal customers as we drive Public Cloud adoption and application transformation
Assist in designing products and services and is responsible for ensuring broad reaching solutions are technically sound
Participate in the technical evaluation and testing of hardware and software for possible impact on systems security or for risk to intellectual property


  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 5 years hands on experience with AWS
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP in good standing)


  • Significant hands-on experience with cloud security, firewall, DMZ, Extranet, VPN, and intrusion detection technologies Extensive experience within the security field and focus on both public and private Cloud computing
  • Intermediate knowledge of all Windows platforms, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX and Linux and advanced understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite
  • Significant knowledge of cryptography as it relates to computer and networksecurity
  • Significant experience with advanced security methodology and technology with architectureexperience in larger scale implementations spanning multiple distributed business lines
  • Experience in maintaining common IT technologies such as firewall, VPN, PKI, E-business and web technologies, vulnerability & risk assessment, intrusion detection, event correlation TCP/IP, SNMP, CGI, HTML, and many miscellaneous security related toolsets
  • Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.
  • Conveys information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse, global teams.
  • Certifications: CISA, CISM and CCNA desired
