Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ensures availability and proper handling of formulary medications; oversees accurate dispensing and compounding (when necessary) of daily medicines; responsible for the safe, accurate and rational distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees and designated areas of the hospital, as well as the supervision of technical personnel in accordance with all state and federal laws, The Joint Commission standards, and hospital/departmental policies and procedures. Maintains Pharmacy Module and serves as a liaison between Pharmacy and other departments for eMAR.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required
Florida Pharmacist license required
Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacist experience preferred.
