Interprets physician's drug orders and supplies nursing units with proper medications for administration to patients and personnel. Provides complete IV additive services for hospital. Answers questions related to medications, medication regimens and IV additives to provide optimum patient care.
This position requires Alabama Board of Pharmacy registration - evidence of the individual's Board of Pharmacy (State) registration is acceptable to demonstrate their academic achievement.
One to three years experience as a pharmacist preferably within an acute care setting
Licenses/Certificates: Registered by State Board of Pharmacy. Must be current with parenteral and controlled substance registrations.Board certification of Pharmacotherapy Specialist (preferred)
