The Clinical Pharmacist works collaboratively with teams within Aegis and is responsible for maintaining and fostering the growth of business service lines. The Clinical Pharmacist team offers guidance and recommendations related to evidence-based practice and outcomes; provides expert consultation for pharmacotherapeutic, toxicology, and pharmacogenetics related questions both within Aegis and for external clients, primarily in healthcare specialties; develops and leads training for clients and team members related to healthcare, pharmacogenetic, and drug testing practices; collaborates with Marketing, Managed Care, Quality, and the Laboratory team to provide superior science and service; and conducts literature research for the Aegis team.
Successful Candidates Must Possess:
- Pharm.D. required
- Excellent written and public speaking communication abilities are required
- Pharmacy residency and/or experience in pharmacogenetics, pain management, behavioral health, managed care, or informatics strongly preferred
- Board certification in Pharmacotherapy preferred
- Continuing education requirements must be met for states in which candidates holds license
The Clinical Pharmacist will perform his or her work in a general office environment using standard office equipment. He or she may travel up to 30% of the time.
