We are currently seeking a full time, dedicated, energetic experienced primary care, RN to lead and support a dynamic team as Clinical Nurse Manager for the Burlington practice.
The Clinical Nurse Manager manages the daily clinical operations including patient and employee safety and oversight, employee staffing and orientation, and clinical operations at a site. Maintains a dynamic and collaborative relationship with Chiefs of Service Lines, supervisors and local administration leaders. Ensures the continuity of systems, care model critical success factors, procedures and service standards. Addresses potential patient and or staff issues. Supervises one or more departments of clinical staff, to include RNs, LPNs and MAs. Provides direct patient care as required.
The person in this role will maintain standards and scope of nursing practice; provides direction and support to staff to ensure practice efficiency. Acts as conduit for communication to nursing staff. Facilitates opportunities for education, mentoring and professional growth and development for nursing staff. Promotes professional nursing practice through mentoring and professional development and collaboration with other disciplines. Orients and trains new employees in compliance with organizational standardization of onboarding. Identifies opportunities to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and service excellence. Participates in the development of standard work in collaboration with leadership team.
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is required. Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
4 - 6 years of demonstrated clinical experience and skill in relevant nursing area required. One or more years of management / leadership experience preferred. Management /leadership experience in a nursing collective bargaining environment preferred. Working knowledge of organizational systems and operations preferred. Must be able to act cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Requires strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Must have a demonstrated commitment to the principals of collaboration and teamwork.
