As one of our Clinical Nurse Educators, you will be primarily responsible for educating nurses within your assigned territory. In addition, you will be contributing to and implementing our nurse educational programs. This position is strictly educational based, i.e., nurse educators do not provide medical advice or work clinically within this role. Your strength as a presenter and effective communicator are paramount to the execution of this role.
⦁ Provide both in person and web-based education to nurses and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) on Y-mAbs approved products.
⦁ Provide disease state related educational support to nurses and HCPs
⦁ Perform in-services primarily for the nurse audience but may include other groups of people, e.g., HCPs, ancillary staff, etc.
⦁ Anticipate, plan, and meet nurse/HCP education needs of customers from varying types of institutions and with varying capacities
⦁ Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments required by Y-mAbs within a specified timeframe
⦁ Stay up to date on the scientific data and treatment landscape
⦁ Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers
⦁ Represent Y-mAbs at the scientific congresses, local conferences, and other speaker programs, e.g. advocacy groups and patient/parent meetings
⦁ Complete required administrative responsibilities in timely manner. Some of these could include but are not limited to tracking daily metrics, weekly summary of activity reports, emails, and monthly expense reports.
⦁ Work cross-functionally, provide support to other departments, and appropriately collaborate with other field-based employees.
⦁ Attend local and national meetings and/or conferences
⦁ Perform other duties as requested
⦁ Minimum of BSN degree required
⦁ Recent (within 5 years) clinical experience in administering immunotherapy for oncology patients highly preferred
⦁ Experience with anti-GD2 monoclonal antibody
⦁ Minimum of 3 years oncology nursing experience highly desirable
⦁ Experience within the pharmaceutical industry as a clinical educator or in sales highly preferred
⦁ Excellent communication and presentation skills
⦁ Ability to explain complex clinical and pharmacology data
⦁ Ability to travel up to 70% using different modes of transportation as this is a field-based position
⦁ Valid driver’s license is required
⦁ Fully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and iPad technology
⦁ Demonstrated effective presentation skills, ability to motivate others, excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) skills, and effectiveness to work cross-functionally and independently
⦁ Ability to think methodically, sequentially, creatively, and strategically
⦁ Ability to effectively build positive relationships both internally & externally
⦁ Ability to be adaptable to changing work environments and responsibilities
⦁ Strong interest in promoting education and awareness among nurses and other stake holders
Strong time management skills and ability to maintain prioritization of key projects and deadline.
