Under general direction, the CNE will provide support and educational services to the evening/night shift ICU and acute care units. The highest priority will be in supporting new hire integration and clinical practice, especially with new graduate nurses. Other typical examples of support include product in-services, generic life-safety (e.g. sedation, mock codes, patient safety), new protocol education, and addressing educational needs self-identified or through needs assessment, manager feedback, etc. The CNE will also share in core CE responsibilities including orientation, product in-services, and BLS training.
This is an 100% FTE position, working evenings and nights with occasional day shifts. REQUIREMENTS: Requirements include:
Current WA State RN license.
5 years clinical leadership experience such as charge, educator, assistant nurse manager, etc.
Strong customer service focus.
Demonstrated ability to organize and teach educational offerings.
Advanced written and verbal skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze practice issues and influence practice.
Flexibility in meeting workload demands.
Master's or DNP desirable.
Acute and ICUexperiencedesired.
