Berkeley Search Consultants has been retained by one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most well-respected and financially stable health systems to recruit for their Clinical Manager – Outpatient Oncology Services position. The health system has been providing exceptional care to its community for over 60 years, and they are well-known for their innovative culture and cutting-edge approach to patient care. The health system has received recognition from both local and national entities for the quality of care they provide, including consistent A Grades from Leapfrog and 5 Star Ratings from CMS. All hospitals within the health system are Magnet facilities.
Reporting to the health system’s Service Line Director of Oncology, the Clinical Manager manages nursing practice and operations and coordinates the provision and management of patient care across three outpatient clinical locations for oncology services. They work closely with the physicians and staff in insuring that the unit maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient and family, as well as the organization. The Clinical Manager is the leader of the unit and has the ability to create and empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve clinical, operational, and financial performance.
- B.S.N. required; a Master's degree in Nursing or in a health-related field is preferred (may be in progress).
- 3 years clinical leadership experience and ability to demonstrate competency in management skills.
- 3 years clinical nursing experience is required; and at least 1 year of related nursing experience required.
- License/Certification/Registration Requirements
- Current California RN license required.
- Specialty certification preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
