The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for identifying and assisting with the implementation of information system solutions that support more efficient and effective work performance based on inherent knowledge of clinical functions and processes.
Bachelor’s degree in a clinical specialty, information technology, or related field.

At least three years of experience working as a licensed/certified clinical professional in a clinical setting. Two to three years recent healthcare clinical informatics or clinical applications analyst experience. Experience with implementing clinical applications across a project life cycle, including planning, designing, testing, educating and supporting functions.
Prior experience with Cerner solutions is an advantage. Organizational workflow experience. Demonstrated success in working with change management. Experience with or willingness to speak in front of audiences in order to train or educate, as well as comfort with giving one-on-one support to clinical end-users.
Current clinical licensure in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, or other ancillary clinical disciplines.
Current certification in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, or other ancillary clinical disciplines.
