PAMC is conveniently located right off the 110 Freeway, and is walking distance from both the Metro Gold Line Station in Chinatown and Union Station in Downtown.

PAMC is looking for a full-time Clinical Informatics Educator (RN).

Duties: Designs and implements an orientation and staff development program that facilitates performance competence and attainment of standards of care consistent with the organizations mission. Emphasis is on, but is not limited to courses, tools and resources which address priority learning needs in relation to the organizations MEDITECH clinical applications and upgrades. Primarily responsible for training and coordinating these activities for end-user clinicians (but not limited to nurses and physicians). Assists clinicians to acquire, maintain, and/or expand unit-specific and bedside competence in MEDITECH clinical applications. Collaborates with the Education Department, IT Clinical Informatics Analysts, Nursing, Medical Staff and other Ancillary clinical departments and staff to meet training needs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Experienced in electronic documentation especially MEDITECH system clinical applications. Teaching experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable. Knowledge and/or experience in MEDITECH's Advance Clinical applications, dictionary-building, implementation, training and support is a plus. MEDITECH NPR and M-AT Programming is desirable. Professional licensure or certification is preferred.
