The Department of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Associate to provide medical care to patients in the Division of Infectious Diseases.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews symptoms, evaluates, reviews radiographs and diagnoses problem. Develops a treatment care plan. Provides comprehensive outpatient care as appropriate for each patient.
Practices safe care. Documents patient care appropriately. Completes and submits billing in a timely manner. Maintains compliance with all internal and external regulatory agencies. Administrative follow-up work as needed for the physician’s practice.
M.D. Degree. Licensure by State of Maryland Board of Physicians (eligibility in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases). DEA Certification and Sate of Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) Certification. Some related experience; preferred. Credentialed at Johns Hopkins Hospital and related hospitals as necessary.
Sitting, standing and walking for extended period of time. Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction. Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s). Ability to move standard equipment through a hospital or clinical environment.
