Monitor and advise the activities of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree program.
Provide leadership in program development, clinical experiences, and evaluation of the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree program (DNP) degree options.
Communicate directly with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Director for Graduate Studies in the oversight of the DNP program.
Teach online didactic and clinical courses in the graduate program. Teaching will include assignment of multiple graduate courses each semester (clinical and/or didactic courses).
Monitor progress of, and advise students in the DNP program.
Assume a major lead in the preparation of students for national certification.
Direct curriculum evaluation on an annual basis.
Direct oversight of clinical placements working with Clinical Coordinator.
Active engagement in scholarship which aligns with School of Nursing mission and vision.
Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (DNP) and/or Ph.D. in Nursing.
Hold certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
Two (2) years of related experience.
Ability to practice in Idaho as a Certified Advanced Practice Nurse by start date.
Demonstrated leadership in clinical practice.
Certification in the specialty of FNP or PMHNP
Three to five (3-5) years of teaching in an academic faculty role or equivalent.
Demonstrated success in dissemination of scholarship.
