JOB SUMMARY:Teach Nurse Practitioner specialty and/or related courses for the College of Nursing each semester; Advise students in the College of Nursing; Participate in scholarly activities; Participate in appropriate professional, college and university organizations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:NYS licensed/registered RN or eligible required. Master's degree in nursing from an institution of higher education accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency with at least three years of recent work experience as a Nurse Practitioner required.Currently nationally certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; Working knowledge of curriculum design and implementation; Ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, students,and others required. *Candidates may be considered at a different title and salary based on qualifications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Doctorate (PhD or DNP) and faculty experience preferred.
