Retrophin continues to grow! The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for maximizing sales in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico and positioning the company as a leader in the Rare Disease space. Candidates must have prior experience calling on prescribers representing specialized, high-value product used for extremely small patient populations. The Clinical Account Manager has a unique opportunity to partner with their customers by providing unprecedented support to diagnosis and manage patients with these rare conditions.

o This position will be responsible for all business related activities within their geographic responsibility; including achieving sales goals, business planning,

and expense control.
o Primarily responsible for calling on Health Care Professionals specializing in Urology and Nephrology in targeted institutions and offices.
o Identify providers managing patients with the rare genetic disorder of Cystinuria and provide education regarding the benefits of using Retrophin

o Assist with steps to provide access of therapies for patients. This may include proper testing procedures, site of care determination and reimbursement

process education.
o Provide educational support to an underserved patient community.

o Bachelor’s degree required, clinical background preferred
o 5-8 years of experience calling on prescribers of specialized, high value products required
o 1-2 years of experience promoting orphan disease products required
o Candidates must demonstrate a consistent track record of sales success including quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments and awards
o Prior experience calling on academic institutions highly preferred
o Previous experience managing a large geographical territory. Up to 40% overnight travel will be required
o Ability to work independently and exercise good business acumen
o Previous start-up experience highly desirable
o Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and interpret sales data to identify and address business opportunities
o Demonstrated proficiency with a Sales Force Automation application and basic business software
o Must have a reliable and appropriate personal vehicle that meets minimum requirements to conduct business for the company
o Background check including Motor Vehicle Record required.
