We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Client Technical Advisor, with a technical focus on geotechnical investigations and engineering for Energy-sector clients, to work in a technical and business development role with other highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position that can be in any of our mid-Atlantic or New England region offices. Teleworking is also an option from any of these States.
The successful candidate will:
Focus on delivering H&A’s geotechnical services to Energy sector clients (primarily power delivery and renewables). You will play a key role in developing and growing H&A’s portfolio of geotechnical engineering and other consulting services in the Energy sector.
Actively develop commercial strategies and programs to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with new and existing clients.
Lead proposal efforts to capture and deliver new business.
Contribute to the leadership and management of project execution activities in support of our clients’ major capital projects.
Lead consulting engagements in the area of geotechnical engineering and consulting services.
Build, grow, and manage a high-performance geotechnical team, serving as a leader and mentor. Identify emerging talent and work with them to reach their full potential; ensure rising stars are mentored, trained, developed, and given new areas of responsibility.
Maintain authorized contracts, prepare Project Management Plans (PMPs), and manage contract changes in accordance with Quality Management Standards (QMS).
B.S. degree in geotechnical engineering or another related discipline
M.S. degree strongly preferred
8 or more years serving as a trusted advisor for geotechnical engineering services to electric utility and/or renewable energy clients in the mid-Atlantic and New England regions.
A history of delivering significant net revenue of geotechnical services to one of more of these clients on an average annual basis.
Demonstrated the ability to strategically develop client accounts to provide a broad range of consulting services.
Understanding and knowledge of the local markets and the companies operating within them, including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business
World-class consulting and business acumen to understand and identify client challenges and risks to cross-sell multiple services Haley & Aldrich can provide in other areas
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
