Currently, we are seeking qualified individuals to work as a Client SupportTechnician in our Rochester and Syracuse office. This position requires experience assisting clients by phone and in person with desktop, server and networktroubleshooting and administration. The candidate must also demonstrate superior customer service and communication skills. References will be requested and a technical skills assessment will be required. 




·        Desktop Support

o  PC hardware and software

o  Network connectivity configuration and troubleshooting

o  Internet connectivity configuration and troubleshooting

o  Windows 10, 8 and 7 configuration, installation and troubleshooting

o  Desktop configuration and implementation

o  Office 2016, 2013, 2010 configuration (both Office 365 subscription-based versions and traditional licensing versions), installation and troubleshooting

o  Antivirus and anti-spyware applications installation, configuration and troubleshooting

o  VPN/Remote Workplace Connections

o  Mobile device configuration and support

·        Bench Work

o  Initial PC Setup

o  Configure/Troubleshoot PCs

·        Monitor and Coordinate managed services

o  Receive tickets triggered by event monitoring

o  Review, triage and escalate tickets

·        Server Support

o  Administer and supportWindows Server 2012

o  Administer Office 365 cloud services (including Exchange Online, Skype for Business Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business)

o  Administer Active Directory and Group Policies

o  Administer Microsoft Exchange (both on-premises and Office 365 cloud-based service)

o  Administer VMWare and Hyper-V servers

o  Administer and support backup

o  Administer and support managed antivirus

o  Perform Windows Server 2008 and 2012 maintenance and administration

o  Participation in company meetings, and other related duties.

·        You are responsible for tickets assigned to you until they are completed.

o  Report status or unresolved issues back to management using Autotask

o  Communicate customer requests and requirements to Account Managers

·        Enter time worked into Autotask daily and submit your timesheet weekly.

o  We expect an average of 25 hours of billable utilization

·        Work from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

1 - 3 years’ experience requested or combination of education and experience

Microsoft, Cisco, Sonicwall and VMware certifications preferred

Written technical assessment is given to potential candidates

$80K - $100K
