Summary

As a Client Success Manager, you will manage client relationships in our west coast region. You'll be responsible for client retention and support, account level growth and facilitating marketing strategy and technical consulting. We are looking for someone who excels at building rapport, managing relationships and is focused on providing exceptional service for our current client base. Candidates should be team players with a passion for digital marketing and a growing knowledge base of digital marketing best practices and solutions in marketing technology. Ideal candidates will have experienced success previously as an account manager, having built and grown marketing strategies for brands across multiple digital channels and verticals.

Essential Functions

In this role, you will manage day to day client relationships and projects with a focus on client satisfaction and retention for assigned accounts. You will be responsible to:

  • Manage project schedules, milestones and deliverables
  • Ensure that work is delivered on-time, in scope, and within budget in accordance with Shaw + Scott's commitment to excellence
  • Learn and understand client business challenges and goals, and navigate complex client organizations
  • Facilitate strong working relationships among internal resources across all teams that are engaged to support the work you need delivered
  • Participate in all aspects of business development including identifying opportunities, scoping, authoring statements of work and forecasting
  • Display marketing curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency's work in new directions
  • Work with the Regional Director to ensure effective communication, consistency, and efficiency across practice areas

  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while demonstrating enthusiasm and positivity towards colleagues and clients
  • Ability to remain attentive to long-term goals in a busy day-to-day environment

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with an emphasis on email marketing
  • Experience working with digital marketing software including email service providers, analytics, CRM and project management tools
  • Familiarity with process management tools such as Jira, Basecamp, Asana, Workfront, Mavenlink, etc.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Agency experience preferred

Work Environment/Travel

This job operates in a remote work environment with semi-frequent travel to professional office settings and other events locally, nationally and internationally; some overnight travel may be expected.
