Job Summary The Client Sales Executive calls on and sells Paycor’s products and services to existing clients within a directly assigned territory. He/she is responsible for executing the entire sales process including lead generation, needs assessment, technical product demonstration, pricing, and deal submission. He/she is responsible for self-generating leads through prospecting, virtual networking, sales database management, and other lead sourcing activities. He or she is also responsible for following up on leads generated by Marketing initiatives and Client Services activities. The Client Sales Executive is a self-starter who is responsible for achieving assigned monthly and annual sales quotas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive significant revenue through selling our suite of SaaS solutions
  • Communicate effective selling strategies using customer-specific value propositions
  • Develop, negotiate, and close business with existing customers in a virtual capacity through phone and email
  • Lead virtual demonstrations of Paycor solutions
  • Develop long-term business relationships through a consultative sales approach in order to understand client business objectives and deliver solutions
  • Actively collaborate with internal business partners, including: Sales leadership, Marketing, Sales Operations, other Sales channels, Clients Services, and Implementation
  • Consistently and accurately forecast current and future sales results
  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly and annual sales quotas

Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in consultative, B2B, software/technology sales with a track record of success
  • Success managing a complex sales process without direct daily supervision (multiple stakeholders, competing requirements, etc.)
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen and boardroom presence
  • 4 year degree in business or business-related field preferred
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, enthusiasm and strong work ethic
  • Some travel required
