Responsible for communicating the firm’s investment strategy, process, profile, and results to sophisticated high net worth and institutional clients, consultants, and prospects as a resource to the relationship alongside a primary relationship manager.
Work with the investment research team to understand positioning related to all asset classes under coverage (equities, fixed income, real estate alternatives, etc.)
Develop and enhance presentations alongside relationship manager team(s) to present investment strategy and results to external parties and internal business partners, for existing clients, consultants and prospects.
Creates insightful and timely thought leadership pieces such as papers, presentations, and other media for specific strategies.
Assist in developing firm-wide views on the subject matter, as well as leading formal recommendations on asset allocation and portfolio positioning for clients and prospects.
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform additional duties as required.
Experience working as a relationship manager or client portfolio manager with high net worth, institutional, consulting clients and prospects.
Experience in the lead development of an investment strategy and a strong understanding of various approaches to accomplish the numerous objectives of a client portfolio.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a core component of this position.
Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree.
Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are desirable such as a CFA, CFP, or similar designation. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
