Moneris offers a competitive Total Rewards program, and was named one of the Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in North America in 2017. Purpose of this role:  This position is accountable to the Manager, Merchant Integrations.  The purpose of the role is to provide sales engineering, integration, and certification support for Moneris clients, including Project Management of integration projects For optimum success in this role, it will be essential for you to be customer focused, resourceful, ensure accountability, build networks and manage ambiguity You will be accountable for:

  • Providing Project Management and certification support of complex integration projects for Base24 and Phoenix systems, including Debit, Credit, Private Label and Moneris Gift and Loyalty. Duties involve support for merchants, ISV’s and VARS, in collaboration with Moneris Gateway Products
  • Project Managing multiple client integration projects at the same time, intertwining all project components from ideation to post implementation of a set of projects that is connected to a single customer deliverable
  • Ensuring appropriate management, customer and supplier involvement throughout the life of the project
  • Managing project schedule, task details and utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling software and to delegate appropriately
  • Managing change to project scope and take active leadership in timely decision making
  • Identifying and communicating any possible risks to technology and the business for new and ongoing initiatives
  • Responsible for Supporting Product & Development in product direction (attend product meetings etc.)

 Your experience includes: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or a related field
  • PMP designation may be considered an asset
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
  • 5 years of experience in IT/ project management experience
  • Previous experience in the payment industry 
  • In-depth knowledge of Moneris Products and Services, processing infrastructure, and all related technologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows/ MS Office Applications 
  • Accountable to face up to issues squarely and early, resolve conflicts, admit to having problems and seek coaching openly, escalate if necessary, and generally champion the people and the project up, down, and across the organization and with customers/external vendors
  • Comfortable dealing with senior management.
  • Detail oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, to work independently as well as within a team 
  • Good negotiation and strong cross-functional team management skills
  • Innovative, proactive, forward thinking and possess high level of initiative
  • Strong facilitation, time management and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal)
