What does a great Client Executive do?

The Digital Channels Account Executive is responsible for managing the digitalchannels relationship with specific Digital Banking Group clients. These financial institutions are leveraging Fiserv solutions to achieve leadership positions in the use of digital technology to better serve their customers. The Account Executive will act as an advocate for the client and will have an unwavering commitment to exceed performance results for the client and for Fiserv.

The DBG Account Executive will be accountable to drive high levels of performance in the following areas:

  • Sales of add-on products and services
  • Consult with client on trends in digitalchannels products
  • Understand and articulate client’s digital strategy and goals
  • Growth in product adoption & usage
  • Client satisfaction and retention
  • Organic revenue growth

Job Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for building strong strategic relationships with key client digital stakeholders and executives while working effectively with a cross-functional Fiserv team including Enterprise Client Partners, Sales Executives, Product Management, Professional Services, Support, & Adoption Marketing Consultants. Within this cross-functional team the Senior Account Executive will lead key activities including but not limited to:

  • Meet/exceed financial goals (TCV/Revenue)
  • Drive account strategy and plan development for the Digital Channels Group
  • Lead client business reviews and coordinate/prep all needed SMEs
  • Drive client contract renewals
  • Provide digital thought leadership consulting
  • Engage clients to drive organic growth in digital adoption and usage
  • Navigate and influence across assigned client’s business
  • Serve as a primary client escalation related to service delivery issues and/or other client concerns
  • Collaborate across a matrixed, multi-line of business environment
  • Provide pipeline development and accurate forecasting

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other applicable business discipline required
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in client and account management within the financial services industry
  • Experience managing mid-market to large financial institutions in the areas of relationship management, service delivery, and sales
  • Experience managing a book of business related to license, maintenance, professional services, and outsourcing technology solutions
  • Proficiency negotiating complex, multimillion-dollar contracts / renewals
  • Experience leading consumer digital adoption & usage growth initiatives
  • Experience developing complex account strategies and plans leading to increased client referenceability, revenue growth, sales, and end customer product usage
