We are currently seeking a Client Account Manager eager to help us continue to revolutionize the industry.
As a Client Account Manager, you'll partner with External Sales and operations partners to develop and deepen relationships in the Broker Dealer or Insurance and Record Keeping businesses. Our Client Account Managers are focused on delivering excellent client service to our intermediary partners, and managing mutual fund trading operations relationships with firms across the U.S. This role is best suited for strategic thinkers who can uncover client needs and provide the right solutions.
How you'll spend your days:
As a Client Account Manager, you'll spend your days growing and maintaining relationships with partners in our Mutual Fund Operations business, as well as our Investment Only, Compliance, and Legal businesses, among others. You'll also partner closely with mutual fund trading operations partners by developing a thorough understanding of their business, and recommending ways to make their trading relationship with Vanguard as easy as possible. Applying your deep knowledge of operations and/or the insurance, record keeper, or Broker Dealer channels, you'll become a trusted relationship manager to our clients. During travel or calls with external partners and Sales Executives, you'll lead or participate in face-to-face meetings with intermediary operations contacts aimed at growing and improving the operational trading relationship between Vanguard and other partner firms.

Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree or designation preferred.
Minimum five years of directly related experience with proven client relationship skills.
Knowledge of Vanguard's products and services required.
Proven interpersonal relationship skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated executive and client presence, and ability to positively influence professional community.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Thorough knowledge of Vanguard funds and investment process; broad awareness of competitive landscape and general business environment.
Completion of Series 6 or Series 7 and 63 (or obtain within 6 months)
The ability to travel is required.
