Acting as a field-based sales and customer relationship resource for Diebold Nixdorf, you must be an expert in security related sales. You will sell physical security solutions such as high security fencing, bullet resistant glass, secure entryways, intelligent keylock systems, as well as related services to non-financial institutions.  This role will focus on new business development using a consultative selling approach to close new deals. You are expected to achieve $2.5 - $3 million dollar quotas in a territory within the United States.
 
Some essential functions of this position include:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals and upsell on the Diebold value
• Generate leads and execute new client sales
• Maximize opportunities by conducting needs assessments and developing customized solution designs through consultative selling
• Propose and present the Diebold solution that will meet the customer's requirements
• Meet order, revenue, and profitability growth goals in accordance with order management requirements
• Lead customer discussions & negotiations to secure sales orders
• Ensure successful post-sale implementation and follow-up
• Create and manage a sufficient pipeline to support goals
• Communicate an accurate forecast.

Qualifications
 
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and new business development within the security industry
• General knowledge of security products and services is a plus
• Proven success in high quota carrying position
• Must be motivated, aggressive, and results driven to conduct cold calls and close new business deals
• Must exhibit skills, characteristics, traits and work habits that greatly enhance the likelihood of success as a sales executive
• Must have exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving  and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in all MS Office products with emphasis on Salesforce.com, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Lync
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
