B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil municipal and/or Water-Wastewater projects.
Professional Engineering License in the State of Oklahoma required or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
Excellent oral and written communication skills for client contact.
Ability to organize and handle multiple objectives, clients, contractors, third parties, and internal team members
Possess a high level of comfort with business development activities.
Have the ability to meet and understand critical deadlines through efficient time management and effective communication.
Candidate must have technical experience in the areas of municipal or water/wastewater including waterlines, sanitary sewers, pump stations, storm water, municipal distribution systems, treatment facilities, and site civil project improvements.
Management of staff.
Project Management experience in the Municipal and/or Water/Wastewater areas.
Candidate will have technical background to provide oversite of staff, coordination of projects with clients, and quality control for project related items, including cost estimates, design drawings, project specifications, reports, etc.
Ability to organize and handle multiple assignments.
Ability to prepare man-hour estimates, prepare contracts, and coordinating work efforts and scheduling/coordinating staff assignments.
Capable of providing clear and concise correspondence.
Active in professional organizations.
Assist less experienced engineers with design.
Supervision of technical staff.
Provide leadership for the Division and their Team including operations as risk and financial management, customer service, and client management.
Provide recommendations regarding staff recruitment, mentoring and training, performance issues, staff appraisals, compensation, and staff reductions.
Monitor available accounting and financial information as required to understand the current performance of their team’s projects, including collections on Accounts Receivable and the completion of billing reports each month.
Direct and coordinate all business development assignments and client management services while working with Administrative/Marketing staff and other divisions.
Teach and organize applicable staff on proper ways to treat and build strong, long-term relations with clients.
Assist in acquiring the work required to keep the Teams and Division efficient and meet budgeted projections.
Verify that all schedules are being met, project costs are within budget, and that mandatory quality control is occurring.
Enforce corporate/division standards and processes while enforcing quality control requirements as set forth by the company/department/division.
Assess risks to reduce and actively manager risks while assuring that the requiredrisk management practices are in place.
