Summary: GAI Consultants is looking to expand our Northeast practice by hiring a Land Development Project Manager to work from one of our Western Pennsylvania offices (Homestead, Cranberry or Southpointe). An ideal candidate would have proven leadership, marketing capabilities, and technical ability in managing residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and institutional type Land Development projects. The successful candidate must be able to perform project planning, design, engineering, and has been involved in engineering services during construction, for land development type projects under public and private ownership.   • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Technical execution and oversight of engineering projects, participation in project pursuits, management of technical projects, and mentorship and development of junior staff.
  • Independently perform and guide others on the completion of civil land development projects that may include residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, brownfields, college and universities, K- 12 schools, public/private developments, etc.
  • Candidates should be able to be efficient in planning and organizing workload.
  • Dedicated commitment to performing quality work and positive work ethic.

  • Qualifications: 10 – 15 years' experience in civil land development engineering with at least 10 years' experience in project/client management
  • Professional Engineer License required in state of practice (i.e.; PA, WV, VA, OH)
  • Proven successful track record in marketing new clients and maintaining existing clients
  • Professional in client management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead and direct staff to accomplish strategic goals and objectives
  • Motivated to grow market share and expand civil land development footprint across region
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suites, AutoCADD Civil 3D, Hydraflow, Bentley Pondpack, and other industry accepted Civil engineering software and design standards is a must.
  • Experience in developing detailed design drawings, and specifications.
