We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer with recent infrastructure design experience for our Las Vegas office to assist in the determination of the cause and origin for infrastructure failures including roadways, sidewalks, underground utilities, water supply, sewers, drainage systems, and other failures. Duties consist of investigating and analyzing residential, commercial, and industrial subdivisions for the purpose of resolving claims and legal disputes. Assignments may include foundation settlement investigations, structural assessments, site evaluations, and sub-surface investigations. You must be able to prepare oral and written reports that document the cause and origin, extent of loss, and recommended remediation. Be able to provide opinion and expert testimony. Other duties include gathering photographic evidence, conducting investigations to document onsite conditions and oversee field-testing.
- BS Civil Engineering with 5-10 years’ experience
- CA Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
- You must possess strong communications skills and be able to deliver presentations to clients for the purpose of both litigation support marketing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to perform inspections in confined spaces and high and/or steep slope roofs.
