The Civil Engineer must possess a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and 15 years' experience applying substantive civil engineering in facilities supporting shorelines, wetlands, estuaries, river beds, ponds, erosion, stormwater structures, utility installation, concrete, stone and paving for roads, walkways, parking lots, inlets and outfall structures. Te Civil Engineer shall be a Professional Engineer (PE) Certified and possess an industry-recognized Project Management certification to manage and support Government projects.
The Civil Engineer shall perform, but not limited to:
- Site Planning
- Structural calculations for residential building
- Preparation of Requirements Charters, Statements of Work, and Acquisitions Plans for the design and construction of projects on Federal facilities.
- Roads and grading
- Budget and Contracting
- Construction Administration and management
- Quality Control, construction inspections, punch list completion
