The role of theCisco Voice Engineer is to implement and administer Cisco Unified Communications, especially of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), and associated technologies at Intelligrated. The position is responsible for providing support for Cisco router (voice gateways), phones, telepresence units and support for voice prioritization and class of service. In addition, the Sr. Cisco Voice Engineer provides Second level escalation support for voice and network technologies from the service desk
Performs daily support of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity Connections.
Performs daily support of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX).
Provides support for Cisco router (voice gateways), switch, and firewall infrastructure.
Supports voice prioritization and class of service.
Evaluates, designs, plans and implements new and upgraded unified communications technologies.
Analyzes and integrates third party technologies into Cisco Unified Communication Infrastructure.
Creates and maintains network and infrastructure documentation.
Versed in migration of Cisco unified communication platforms to different domains
The Cisco Voice Engineer preferably possesses a CCNA/CCNP or other network certifications and between three and five years of LAN/WAN and/or Cisco Voice Technologies work experience
